I have to agree. When my wife asked me for a small MFP for her business that was reliable and easy to use this was my only recommendation to her. I love these machines...

good basic, low volume machine, no bells and whistles. copy/print/scan/fax all possible.

I like them. We have many of them in the field. Only one CAVEAT.

Don't ever lean on them, put pressure on them from the top or pick them up improperly.

I've got two in my shop with broken scanner support arms and scanner frames. They are basically useless now and only good as printers.

Also surprised none of you mentioned the issue with the ADF Double Feeding? We've replaced the spring plate per the bulletin along with motors, 1 way bearings, clutches etc and some still are iffy. We eventually superglue plastic wedges to make the spring plate firmer. It varies per unit. We try and try and test and test till it works right.

Its a good machine but make sure your office wont print A3 size.

Good point! That one's surprised a few people already.

One cool feature, though, the little beast is a color scanner.

Good little machine. From the 1515MF, the 161 and 171 I've heard good stuff from customers. It's a small convenient machine - don't try some off the wall application and expect it to work flawlessly. I find people don't want to spend any money and want everything. You get what you get. Good and reliable!

it is good reliable machine, up until you got an adress book data error then you need a new controller board. i've replaced 3 out in the field and i hope they were just a bad batch.

Top boxes. Rarely have a call for these which isnt PM related. No A3 is a bummer. Display leaves a bit to be desired.
