Problem On Aficio 2035e Lazer Unit

    Hi

I have a problem on aficio 2045e laser unit and the copy is attached for your reference.
Mainly on the white line showed on the black bar.
Could we use the service code to solve the problem or we have to replace the lazer unit. Thanks ! Aficio 2045 Lazer&#32.jpg

Looks more like there is something physically rubbing the toner off down the middle. Check the path, particularly the fuser entrance for anything built up.

      Thanks teebee1234

Tomorrow I will try to take a look on the developer unit. I am sure that is not come from fuser, because the copy before fuser is also the same, and not from drum unit, as I had changed another for testing. If not from lazer,it may be on lazer unit.

Check the drum unit. The charge roller cover warps causing it to wipe the toner off the drum.
Why do they call it common sense?

If it were common, wouldn't everyone have it?

You may have already done this, but make sure the laser shield glass is free of toner.

yes , no dust and toner inside the lazer unit. On tomorrow I try to replace the developer unit for testing ,If same, Is it possible to use aficio 450 lazer head for replacement. ( I means not the whole, only the lazer head )

The Laser Diode Units have different part numbers. I'm guessing they are not interchangeable, I believe the resolution is higher on the 2035.

I have tried the LD unit of Aficio 2035 to Aficio 1035 it works fine but not from Aficio 350 or 450 to Aficio 2035. but as what other say try to check the developing unit magnetic rollers and the Charge roller.

                  Thanks ! All of you

The machine is already fixed, copy OK, The reason is related to the sponge which is under the drum unit. Not Lazer Unit.

The right part no. is AA15-3442 Shield - Stay - PCU. Because of damaged sponge.
