I've been searching for a magnetic 5.5mm nutdriver for months and ether the companies on line have back ordered them with no eta, or they no longer carry them. Ames, Katun, and many more. I settled for a 15" driver that is actually kinda nice, but it looks like I'm gonna whack the machine with it instead of turn a nut. It's far too long. Do you know a good place to buy tools (ie: spring hooks, etc.)? They all seem to be disappearing off the internet. Try going to a local hardware store and ask if they carry springhooks. Their expression is priceless.

I must admit my nutspinner is a godsend, it's got me out of the poo on several occasions, especially when another engineer has used what looks like a sledgehammer to replace a screw. It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

Springhooks, my favorite tool!! I buy 'em by the dozens, one because my techs seem to lose them more than anything else and also I just like 'em. I use them at home, for fishing and hunting, have em in the kitchen, garage, toolbox. I've used them to fix cars, televisions, toilets, even copiers and printers once in awhile. My favorite one is the old style IBM springloaded springhook. I buy them from Ames.Comment
