    Ricoh MP C6000 error SC-687 and SC-990

    Hi all

I have a machine which pauses during printing/copying and then pops up SC code SC-687.

Switching off and on clears the error but it comes back intermittantly.

I checked the error log and there are several SC-687 and SC-990 codes in there.

The sm states there is a problem relating to the controller for SC-687 and I cannot find SC-990 in there!

Can anyone let me know if they have encountered this problem and if so what you did to resolve?

I'm guessing maybe do a controller firmware upgrade if there is a newer version?

Current Firmware levels are as follows:

    Printer: 1.07
    System: 1.08
    Engine: 1.08:01
    LCDC:1.04
    NIB: 7.13

    Regards

SC990 is reload software. Latest is Sys M, eng K printer h. I would reflash the firmware first Reset all the connectors on the controller especially the RAM.
