is a black piece with a spring which give pressure to transport rollers and is located right on top of first tray if you take the front cover off you see that...( damn did not get a pic )... i guess this brake all the time because the paper is getting skew on fuser....

If you're talking about the friction pad the part number is B039 2711. It is the piece that sits under the feed roller and comes out with the paper tray. If not give me a picture and I'll try to find the number for you.

Thanks TOTORO but is not the pad
Is more a small LEVER with a SPRING which pull the transport roller in order to give pressure
and if you want to take that off the only way is if you remove the front cover.
Well if does not help you...will make a pic. Thanks anyway brother.

Is it a small bracket with 2 screws holding it in place with a hook for the spring that is to the left of the reg roller? If so, that is the registration roller bracket B039 2575.

It could just be the cassette guides out of position causing the paper to run too close to the rear of the machine, this is a common problem.

Remove the paper lift plate in the cassette, remove the gear between the side guides, push the guides to the centre and refit the gear and plate. Cured?... lock the guides with self tapping screws.

He is talking about the front registration roller bushing. I have had them break many times on the B039's.

I dunno. He talked about taking the front cover off, and the bushing is black AND it has a spring attached to it.

Mikadonovan is correct when it breaks it causes paper to come out skew cause of correct pressure at the rear end of the machine and a slight gap at the front end of reg roller
