We need the service manual for a Ricoh FT4022 or machine code A161. Need to replace drum and developer. Will pay.

You sure you want to fix it? I sent the last of our analog copiers down the tip a few years ago. Even if you could get a drum and dev all the foam seals would have turned into chewing gum and it would leak like the Titanic!At least 50% of IT is a solution looking for a problem. -
It's at a bank and in all the managers infinant wisdom he wants it fixed. What do you do.
I preached him the sermon of no warranty and it was a lot of money to spend on that old a unit but he insisted.
I know it will break 3 months from now and he will not remember the sermon.Comment

I agree with Lagonda, for goodness sake the machine is so old. I would make them suffer for quite a while before fixing the problem. How do customers expect company's to stay in business by supporting 15 year old machines ? What if everyone had 15 year old cars and never purchased new cars-that would spell a lot of unemployed people, no newcars being made, no bank loans being processed, no new cars being sold, no engineers designing new cars, I could go on and on but you get the point.Comment

This model isn't getting any newer you know!
As this thread is 4 years old, and this model had been discontinued for 12 years then, I now make it that it has been discontinued for 16 years, with no guarantee of parts for 9 years!

I seem to recall that this was part of the Phoenix series. Do yourself a favor and start out with a slightly newer machine.
If I could locate my manual it was 2000 duplexed paper pages. I would not scan that for you. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Wow - see what you mean - the Service Manual is available for free - even comes up on the first page on Google search......absolutely no effort to even look......at least with the PDF it won't have the inch of dust on it that the printed manual would have by nowComment
