Ahh! paper manuals! Just open them up and start reading without having to wait for something to boot up. The batteries were never flat, you could turn a corner over for quick reference and scribble in the margin, life was so much simpler then..........I'm getting all nostalgic for the high pitched hum of a charge corona and the smell of ozone.
But on a serious note, back then Ricoh manuals contained a decent description on how the thing actually worked, invaluable for fault finding.
At least 50% of IT is a solution looking for a problem.
This model isn't getting any newer you know!
As this thread is 4 years old, and this model had been discontinued for 12 years then, I now make it that it has been discontinued for 16 years, with no guarantee of parts for 9 years!
Why on earth would anyone want a manual for it, unless they were planning on opening a museum of service manuals
I've got a museum sitting in the corner here just waiting for that one customer who will show up right when I throw them out! I fought desperately to hang onto an old prisitine 770 just to remind me of my roots.
Its still in the TDC under Archive Analogue copiers........................
In the US it is still available for download from rfg-esource. I actually still have on my laptops. I am not though going to start providing manuals to new members who not established some Rep Power. It used to be on the analog Read CD. When Ricoh quit sending out the Read CDs, we just copied all the last ones to our server and as people got laptops that had enough disk space, we copied the entire structure to them.
Thank you i do realise it is an old thread and an old copier. I am using it for training and would rather they dissassembled and re assembled an old copier that isnt likely to work again. Does anyone have a service manual

I think that we have given you ample suggestions as to where you can find a manual on your own. Now put in some effort.
Thank you (friendly bunch) I did manage to download the service manual but though it is huge its shallow. It doesn't give very clear instruction. I was hoping to get a more detailed one. But i will make do with that. Thank you
Let me assure you that the people on here are amongst the friendliest and most helpful I have ever come across, if you don't like what we have to say, then the door is in the corner, feel free to exit using it!!
Debs is still in a grumpy mood BTW
There are 10 types of people in this world, those who understand binary maths and those who don't

Our apologies that the service manual is not up to your high standards.
What exactly were you looking for, instructions on how to turn it into a time machine and fly it in from your home 1995?
