[Jamming] Ricoh Fax 3900L feed clutch.

It 's fairly obvious what's happening.

The feed clutch is magnetized and pre-feeding the paper from every paper source by 25mm or more. I've tried the tapping trick, and it works for 30 prints, then resumes jamming. The paper leads the image by 25mm or more.

The part number for the clutch is H535 5070. The machine is so old that I can't find a source for this part. Does this number update to something else? I found a couple of websites in another language that list the part number, but I can't read any of the rest of it.

Do I need to retire this beast? =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

I've come across a few alternate part numbers:

    H546 5070
    H545 5077

Do you have some dusty new clutches you'd like to sell? PM me, please. =^..^=

Update. Via the Italian website, I got a response from Infinity Copier. The original clutch is available, and on the way here.

        Well, it wasn't the clutch.

But I did find the problem nearby. There is a plastic mechanical one-way clutch on the registration shaft. It seems to have been sticking. A couple drops of light oil freed it up quite nicely. In the parts manual fig 9, items 6, 7, & 8.

Oddly, it seems to affect the lower paper tray, not the upper paper tray. Anyhow...
