Can anyone help please.I have a m/c with error Sc542 what can cause this and how do you reset the code if fuser related,If this is via service mode how do you get into service mode on these m/c's ?

Usually have this problem on machines that have bad or interrupted power. Clean and adjust the thermistors and follow Yetno.0103's instructions for reset. If that doesn't work then change the thermistors.
# Reset Prosedure #
Enter SP mode, and then turn the main power switch off and on.
# Entering and Exiting SP mode #
1. Press the Clear Mode key.
2. Use the keypad to enter “107”.
3. Hold down Clear/Stop for at least 3 seconds.
4. Enter the Service Mode.TotoroComment
