[Error Code] SC 672

hi guys,have a prob. with a mp2550 showing sc 672
actions;rebooted the mcn without the hdd,switched memory but prob. persistant.
the copier can make copies but when finished brings the sc.
please help,i want to replace the nvrams,any ideas?

Think I would have to order a controller board. Check with Hytec, they have an advance exchange program, they will ship you a repaired board and you return one to them. Its fast and you dont buy a board.

672 Controller-to-operation panel communication error at startup
After powering on the machine, the communication circuit between thecontroller and the operation panel is not opened, or mmunication with controller is interrupted after a normal startup.

loose or defective

Doubr if it is the op panel, would go for a new controller board.

I agree with controller board, had exact same fault today on an mcp3500 and fault cured with new controller board.
