    [Jamming] Ricoh 1075

I posted a while back about this copier misfeeding with paper stopping at registration guide plate. It appeared that overfeeding was occurring. One reply which was the problem that developer had leaked down into the upper pf unit. I took unit gears and 1-way bearings off and cleaned yet still had problem. I swapped pf unit with another and problem was fixed. Thanks for help!!!
The pf unit that has the problem I noticed that the driven pressure lever is stickingor might be the driven shaft. Any body seen this and what was done to elimenate sticking spray solvent did not help.
    Thanks!!!

I would use a greasless lubricante like RPS 1 if it's available where you reside. Replacing the clutches for the papre feed units would be a good idea. If the developer unit is leaking D.V. correct that problem. I would also go through the effort to remove the bypass feed unit as it is also contaminated with developer and will continue to feed additional leaking D.V. down into the PFU. Good luck and have fun.

No clutches in this baby. All motors for paper feed. Replace the gears with the one-way bearings in them. If the sticky roller does not have a one-way bearing and just has a bushing, the bushing and/or shaft may be worn down from having developer in there, and may need to be replaced.
Don't take that toner with me!

True, I stand corrected. So lube those bushings.

I have had a lot of developer leaks recently. i clean the unit thoroughly and check all gears even the ones without clutches and replace as necessary as the teeth/cogs can be damaged.

I don't believe the problem lies in any of these replys ( I could be wrong I'm going by what my old master use to tell me fix what you see wrong and that usually takes care of the prblem) There is a black lever on the gear side of the feed unit that when depressed will return back to original position which moves the transport rollers up to the upper transport rollers. It's this that is sticking. Thanks!!!

You never mentioned a guide that was out of position but if you corrected a dislocated guide cool good to hear.
