[Misc] original versus pirate toner yields

This is a general punt amongst your goodselves to see if anybody has any definitive proof of low yields with non manufacturer toner, for now we will keep it to Ricoh products and the black toner, many thanks for your participation in advance.

I do not know about yields, but, in the long run the copier will perform better with OEM toner. This can generally be applied to many makes and models, not just ricoh.

I have found over the years Ricoh Machines and compatible Toners just do not mix.

In my 20 years working on copiers. B/W Ricohs since FT4421 have done acceptable with Katun compatible toner. Color MPC's are another story alltogether. the compatible color toner clogs the toner tubes, reads no toner, etc.
