Aficio 3235C won't print- no error code- data light flashing, red light nic internal

Help please- this one has me completely stumped- I have no error code, machine copies fine, but will not accept any print jobs. I can get into the web interface, and it says PRINTING, yet there are no jobs. I have reset machine, no avail. I have jobs in the computer ready to print, I can ping, no printing, the green data light flashes 20 times, then off, then again, then it goes constant. Any help would be great as I have whole office down now. Thank you.

Cancel the jobs, reboot your computers and reboot the machine from the main power switch. Sounds like the machine doesn't like what your sending it. Any SC code associated with the problem?

Do you have user codes enabled for printing? Are thee jobs sent using "locked print"?

Agree with Jomama46. sounds like user code is on for printing or job being printed to locked print or Document server.

no sc at all- no errors or alerts.

The only thing i noticed when the green data light flashes, there is a red light inside the copier, the NIC inside has a light on it that flashes red, but i can ping it, I can get into the web interface, everything works.

Have you tried using a laptop on a crossover cable? Has an IP access range been defined? Do the PC's print directly to the machine or through a server? Check these out first.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

            Hit it.

              Do they have other printers?

Unplug the network cable and ping the copier I.P. Do you get a reply? This sounds like a duplicate address. If you can get a reply you will probably find the jobs printing elswhere in the building! Had a similar fault a couple of weeks ago.

Of course the customers I.T will say they didn't change ANYTHING!!

Thank you all- I had to turn off every damn PC in the building, as there were print jobs stuck everywhere in the computers, but not locked in the printer. I flushed the printer several times and that still did not work. It took me powering everything off in the building for 20 minutes as most computers rebooted and kept the bad jobs. I had to manually delete all the jobs and then power them all down.

This was so odd- I have never seen a printer hang printing, yet have nothing in it- thank you all.

As I said, I had what sounds like the same problem I had with a duplicate I.P! did you ping the machine I.P with the network cable unplugged?
