Be sure and replace the reverse(sep) roller, too. When worn they will cause misfeeds also.

try changing the pressure plate pad, A859 2352. it is the little cork pad located on the lift plate.

Sounds like a busted torque limiter. A294 6700.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

            Hit it.

I agree. I know your walking with one tomorrow, but you can also check it by looking for cracks in the casing or by spinning it, it is usually takes some force to turn by hand, if its loose its bad.

Are you getting several pages at once or separate pages going through one after the other in quick succession? If so it could be a build up of dust on the registration sensor felt thingy. This can fill up with paper dust and grot and do weird things, always worth giving a clean.

I have put a small smooth velcro tape strip on the rear edge of the lift plate to cushion the bounce from the solenoid.

Worth a try, works for me.
Why do they call it common sense?

If it were common, wouldn't everyone have it?

The drive roller for the feed belt is has a one-way inside. Replace the driver roller
