2051 adf trouble

I have a 2051 with the standard B477 adf installed. On occasion, when feeding an original it will stop and say "load 71/4 x 101/2". I have replaced feed belt, pickup roller, reverse roller, torque limiter, adf paper size sensors, adf original size sensors, adf main pcb, skew correction sensor adf registration sensor, and the one way bearing the original feed shaft shaft fits into. It is a very intermittant problem when using 8 1/2 x 11 and 81/2 x 14 originals. Sensors all test good. I am running out of ideas.

the wiring harnesses go bad in those all the time from flexing. the original set sensor wires are the most notorious, but you should check or replace the wires going to the size sensors. lots of times these are internal conductor breaks, and not very evident.

Yea, I reckon that's the next step. I guess I've been lucky. I've had a bunch of these in the field for years and never had to replace the harnesses until now.
