2027 scan to folder

hi,i got 2027 machine,but don't know how to install scan to folder,pls to help,thx

You will need Scan Router Lite. Do a search of the forums for all of the discussions on it and where to download the software. You will probably be better off setting up Scan to Email instead.

teebee, are you sure about the scan router? The 2027 should be able to scan directly without the scanrouter, but you are in need of the printer/scanner option and the memory upgrade

you are correct. the 2027 is the first model to support SMB folder scanning. you can also do scan to email. there is also a custom firmware update needed if scanning or printing via a share on server 2003.

I'd recommend replacing the Toshiba hard drive supplied by Ricoh before you go to the bother of setting up the address book.

Are you talking about the hardware option or do you have problems software-wised? You can download all user manuals from ricoh's end user website in case you don't know how to register a scan-to-folder adress.

It might be self-explaining if you handle it via the web-interface. I think the default admin log-on is no username and "password" as password. Once logged in you should be able to access and manage the adress book.

The logon user name on the 2022/2027 is password
The Password is password

Newer machines have a logon user name of admin
Just hit enter or ok. A password isn't needed.

You won't find any reference to the web image monitor in the Aficio 2022/2027 users manuals and you won't find it in the service manual either.

l think the problem comes on the computer configuration, win xp, win 7, need some configuration in order to send the scanned document

XXX, are you even officially trained on Ricoh devices? If so, you must have been dozing during the training when they said reference the op guides because you obviously haven't read the manuals yourself. From the "Network Guide" op manual (which is available online to all users and techs who take the time to look)....
