    Ricoh 2060 keeps blowing themistors and thermal fuses...

    I've got this Ricoh 2060 thats keeps blowing the themistors and thermal fuses..we've been onsite 2x in the last week for this problem....so have I missed a bulletin about any changes in temps, diff part numbers. etc...thanks D
    You never realize how cheap a professional is until after you let an amateur do it.... and
    if this was an easy thing to do then everybody would be doing it! But it isn't and they are not!!

    Have you changed the hot rolller presure roller ? if so and it keeps popping ...try the PSU. check with the user re: main surply as this can also cause it.

      Yeah, you have. There's an RTB with modified thermistors and thermostats. I think the new thermistors are AW10 0131 and 0132, stats are AW11 0064 and 0066. There's two of one type of the stats, can't remember which way.
      It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

      Hit it.

            The mounting bracket part numbers were changed as well. The new brackets change the contact location of the thermistors on the roller.
            Not sure if it's a big deal or not on the 2060 but you can check the TSB's for the MP 6000/8000 for more info.
