If the door switch is OK, look for a blown fuse on the psu

Check the center thermistor for build up clean and run

Fusing temperature warm-up error (center): fusing lamp open

Fusing temperature warm-up error (center): thermistor out of position Fusing temperature warm-up error (center): defective thermistor Fusing temperature warm-up error (center): defective power supply unit

Dont know how the door switch figures in but Ricoh/Savin push switches are notorius for bein flakey.

Swapped out the power supply board with "known to be good" same error.

So far we've eliminated fuses, switches, fusing unit and power supply board.

                  Any help much appreciated.

Sc 542 is going to be limited to connections, devices (thermistors, thermostats).
Any paper in the connection? Obviously bent pins? Try the fuser harness - inside the m/c.
Does the fuser assy snug up to the m/c? I had the brass knurled threaded part in the frame keep twisting out when tightening down the fuser screw. Used some JB quick weld to repair it.
