I'm wondering if the older transfer belts off the ricoh 2228/2232/2238c work on the next series up the ricoh 3228/3235/3245c? Has anyone tried interchanging those? I believe the older belt part number is G0803780 and the newer belt is B1803780.
Wondering about the ricoh color transfer belts

They are the same size but the newer B1803780 belt has a reflective positioning mark on one side.
So I guess you could use the newer transfer belt on the older model, but not vice versa.- Knowledge not shared, is eventually knowledge that becomes lost... like tears in the rain.

I had some overstock of the old type tranfer belts and it is no problem to install it on the newer machines even if the reflective strip is missing. You'll just have to disable the "dancing control" sensor via SP and the machine will work fine without it. Never had any complaint or color-reg issues due to this.Comment
