Hello, I'am in need of help on a sc548 code for a gestetner DSc545/Richo MPC 4500 dont have the sc code manuals so if someone with the code can guide me ,it will be appreciated.. thanks to all techs involved for helping to find solutions to different situations........

sc 548- here ya go:
Fusing unit rotation error. Fusing belt sensor does not detect change in the actuator for 5 seconds after the fusing/paper exit motor has turned on.
Causes: Fusing unit incorrectly set. Replace the actuator. Replace the fusing belt. Replace the ih inverter. Check connections. Good luck.

There is a firmware update for this code. basically you need to slide the fusing unit out, look into the machine where you pull it out and at the bottom left hand corner you should see a black sensor. it is common for it to pop out of place.Comment

We have this box in the field but it has proven to be a good running unit. So I will have to keep tabs on this one. Makes a tech look good when others have already had the problem.Comment
