I am having a problem with an 8070 tandem tray which will not load paper to the feed tray. The orginal problem started when another tech replaced a broken end fence with one from a c6055 color box, well there is a height difference so I assume paper fell over the fence when it moved paper to the feed tray. If the feed tray runs out of paper it gives a message for a few seconds that it is loading paper but does not move the paper then gives message to reset unit. Checked sensors and gears and all seem ok, so I have this engenuious plan, customer has another 8070 so I swap trays and still have same issue, will not move paper to the feed tray! I have rarely had issues with the savin trays just broken end fence this is a new one on me, Im thinking reset all the main board connectors and see if this solves the issue, but cant get back in to do this untile the afternoon, anyone had this issue?
