i removed the tx unit and all the drums. cheated the front door, turned on the cyan pump in output mode and nothing came out.i turned on the magenta pump and a load of toner came gushing out, same wit all the others apart from cyan. i changed the cyan toner pump brand new, nozzle assembley and the toner pipe which didnt make a difference. after doing numerous forced toner supply it still fails to load toner. i can see the toner is not actually gettiing to the other side of the pipe where the pump is but the toner is leaving the bottle.is there any chance it can be a faulty pump. machine is always trying to load cyan toner. i have tried different cartridges and still the same. the dev unit is new. new drum unit. VT display for cyan is 2.44vVTREF display is 1.80v as a temporary fix i turned off the toner end detection in sp3045. 3 days later the quality of the cyan was very good on print outs, eventhough the machine is heavily used.i dont understand whats going on. why is it not loading toner when i should do
mpc 4500 cyan toner not loading

maybe, the cyan pump gets no voltage? are you able to connect the cyan pump connector to the one meant for the magenta pump and do the output mode again.... if then the toner appears, it must be something faulty in the triggering, maybe a broken wire or shot BICUIf sometimes you feel a little useless, offended and depressed always remember that you were once the fastest and most victorious sperm of hundreds of millions! -

Hope this helps!
Tonor end condition
[Cause]
- Toner End Sensor(s) mounted between the toner bottle and attraction pump not seeing toner.
- Clogged or defective Toner Supply mechanism
- Abnormal readings from either of the TD sensors
- Faulty NVRAM data
[Action]
To determine where the problem may be occurring you can check the following readings;1. Check SP3044-001 (Toner Supply Mode) and check that it is set at 3 (default)if set at 1 or 2:
- If set at 1 this indicates a problem with the TD Sensor check SP7403-001 (SC History) to determine where fault may lie.
- If set at 2 this indicate a problem with the ID Sensor check SP7403-001 (SC History) to determine where fault may lie.
- If set at 3 proceed to next step
2. Check the Toner End Sensor with SP5803 - 035 (K) / 036(M) / 037(C) /0 38(Y) should read 0 with toner present and 1 with no toner present
- If SP for affected color reads 1 and no toner is present at the Toner End Sensor
- Check that affected the Toner Bottle Clutch engages by watching the rotation of the Toner Bottle
- If the Bottle Rotates check that the gearing and shutter open properly
- If SP for affected color reads 1 and toner is present
- Check and/or replace the Toner End Sensor
- If SP for the affected color reads 0 and no toner is present
- check and/or replace the Toner End Sensor
3. TD sensor check for VT Display in SP3201 numbers 001(B), 002(M), 003(C), 004(Y ).
- These values should be compared against VTREF Display SP3222 001(B), 002(M), 003(C), 004(Y ).
- Normally VT display should be slightly below (.1 to .2) then the VTREF value, the more VT is above VTREF the less toner is being seen in the developer unit, when VT is .5 above VTREF a Toner End Condition is indicated if Toner Near End has been detected first.
- If VT display is high open and close the front door to perform Toner End Recovery or try a forced toner feed SP3015 to add toner and lower VT.
- If VT remains high check the Toner Attraction Pump and/or the supply tube (may be clogged or crimped) .
4. If VT is below VTREF, the Toner End Sensor has toner and reads 0 in step 2, the Toner Cartridge has been changed, and the front door has been opened and closed or the machine cycled off and on, then there may be problem with the NVRAM try:
- Holding down the "./*" and # pound key for ten seconds to perform a soft reboot of the machine
- If the condition still persists perform SP5801-002 (Engine Memory clear)

today i went back with a new toner bottle. swapped the toner bottle and it loaded perfectly the first time and now i can see on system status how much theres left.unfortunatley the black and magenta started showing low this time eventhough the bottle was half full. to tackle this problem i cleared the engine memory clear in section 5. and put all the non default back in. when i switched the machine on, the toner was saying undetectable eventhough it was working fine. so what am i going to have to do next?Comment
