There is a bullitin tier 2 about constant toner add condition cause unknown, their resolution is basically SP 3045 toner end change to 1 to turn it off, then turn the machine off and back on then reset SP 3045 back to 0 to turn detection back on, which I think you mentioned doing but not sure if you reset the machine in that process. Thats all they have for a solution.

I looked around tessa and saw no such thing - but I'll try it anyway along with Ash's suggestion. Will keep you posted.
