    MPC 5560 heater problem

    Hello friends,

I have some Ricoh MPC 5560, the machines gives READY on display but heater don't warm up. If I make a copy the machine scans, gives "Please wait a moment" and stays there.
I changed the heater but still the same. The heater stays cold. please help!

I'd suggest the AC drive board, or possibly controller memory. Is the ready condition basically instant?

sounds strange... if there is something wrong with fusing temperatures, there should be a lot of sc popping on. Go into service mode and look after the sc history, what messages appears there?

agree. if there is an address book, back that up through the web image monitor, and then reformat the hard drive, then power cycle and see what happens.

I've seen a machine that comes ready, no heat, no SC. It was the AC driver.
