Worked on many of these and not had one yet where the LCD has died.

when you power it on, doesit come to ready? do you hear any noises or do the finisher trays move? it could be some other issue besides a bad controol panel.

Before ordering parts I would take the panel apart and check for trapped wires, had a smaller machine work in the field for quite some time but then screen went dead and it was a wire trapped during manufacture, just took some time and vibration/panel being hit by stupid users for it to break.

That sounds more like a blown fuse, maybe a trapped wire in the fuser. Try starting it up with the fuser out and all options disconnected. If it starts, shove the fuser back in and connect the options one by one until it refuses.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

            Hit it.

Went back today to see if I missed anything. Checked all fuses on lvps. Noticed the fuser wasn't warming and had the fuser out too i didn't see anything wacked out with the fuser or connector. When I first turn the machine on it powers and then seems like it doesn't want to boot up. I also had the display apart again but nothing. Too many variables right now. Thanks much t.

Power down, open tray 1 (both sides), boot up... Ok? may be a short on the solenoid loom at the lower left front corner of the right hand section of tray 1.

I've had one (on a 2060) where a lamp connector was shorted to ground. The insulation had a cut, and the machine would not start up.
Very quickly to check, to rule that out.

Glad to help + thanks for the feedback.

Train the customer to push the RHS of the tray in and load only on the left. This will help prevent future damage when they drop the paper into the right hand side and prevent jams due to misloaded paper as they can see the lead edge in the Left tray.

Check the 5v and 24v on the power supply unit, if not replaced the power supply unit.
