    Ricoh Aficio 3035

    Hi Everyone !
    I have a Ricoh Aficio 3035
    The problem is copying.
if I put paper on the glass . copying is fine
if I put paper on the top of the printer and make copy. The result is very bad
like the 1/3 paper bottom showing blurr.
    anyone have idea...
    thank you

i had encountered the same problem and i fixed it by setting the ARDF into correct position.I'm pretty sure the feeder is not set properly.Check if it is slant or not.Adjust it by correcting the screw in the base holder of the unit.

I assume you mean when you place the original on the document feeder the copies are poor?

If so, Place an original on the doc feeder, place your left hand under the left front corner of the scanner, lift (Quite strongly) and while holding the scanner up, take a copy. If it's ok, "Reform" the scanner by lifting higher and retest without holding then tell the customer NOT to lean on the ADF / scanner when copying! The problem is caused by the original not being pressed onto the front of the slit glass in ADF mode.

Also, if you shut the ADF and run your finger along the gap between the ADF and the scanner you will feel a larger gap at the front than the back. Lifting the scanner to reform the frame will result in an equal gap.
