Af5560 dog ears

This 5560 is dog-earing 11 x 17 24 lb paper on an intermittent basis. I am pretty sure it is the paper but it is so intermittent that it is hard to take. I have rebuilt the 3 feed units and inspected the trays, nothing. sometimes it is one corner and sometimes both. It bend the corner down, that is, as if the paper is dragging coming out of the cassette. And it happens before the fuser as the corner is pressed hard and bent on the print side.
It happens from either tray 2 or3 and doesn't happen with 11 x 8.5 in 2 or 3.
Just wondering if I am missing something to check.

You are correct in that it is the paper. All of these machines(3260 included) curl real bad. No fix for it that I have found. Just have to find a paper that works better than others.

Sometimes you have to lay down on the floor and look under registr. area for a piece of paper wich cannot be isolated from the upper side!!(not so funny..)
