    message ricoh 2018 d ?

    when copy from radf in ricoh 2018d first press messge say canot detect original size
    second press messge say load bj5s paper in trary and copy
    the photo is smaller from original
    the tray 1 is a4
    i cleande 3 sensoer but the sam any help?

      thats becouse the metal plate from the ardf that detects the size of the paper is not making good contact. just take out the 3 screws downside of where are the 3 sensors and remove the cover. after that you will see a small metal piece (electrode plate).. just clean that and then push it a little bit to down so it can make good contact on paper size sensor board. after that close and try to make a copy. sorry for my bad english but i hope you understand. anything i can make a draw to you.

        Your originalsensors on the RADF are blocked with dust under the contactarea. This is a strip of metal and the contactfingers slide over it. I have encountered this problem a few times, always dirty contactfingers on the A(R)DF
        technicians are the only ones that don't trust technical stuff !
