[Error Code] SC 681 for MP C2500

    Hi guys,

Anyone who already encounter this SC 681-RFID:communication error?
First the problem starts on faulty/shorted Polygon Mirror Motor and then he damaged the BICU Board, after replacing the new Polygon Mirror Motor and new BICU Board SC 681 pops up. But we still not yet tested the RFID Controller Board.

Is there anyone who encounter this SC 681?
    Any reply will highly appreciated.

    Thanks
Anyone who has never made a mistake has never tried anything new.....A.E.

yes, I already did. I formatted the hdd twice and hdd is workin fine. Do you think that it may possibly damaged also the RFID board due to shorted polygon motor?

As Slakkie4x2 said, it could be the HDD, try disconnecting the data cable, you will get a code, but the machine may run... possibly more ideas to follow.

        (30 seconds later!)

If the Polygon motor blew something, it's likely the new polygon motor wouldn't work? why the RFID but not the motor?

RFID connected to IOB (5v + data) Polygon to BICU (24v + Data). When BICU changed were all nvram chips etc swapped and correct procedure followed???

Already followed the procedure but still the same SC 681. also TD sensor output wasn't right only 0.01V for all CMYK and all electrical parts like motor, solenoid wasn't response after checking on output check.

I'm waiting for I/O board, psu and RFID to test those parts.
I'll update you the status once i tested.

Without looking at the PtoP I wonder if you have something pulling the voltage of the TD sensors and motors down? Trapped wire?
