What type of port on the printer driver are you using?

Try to go on telnet and check DIPRINT is active and Web management is active.

Doesn't that only work on GDI controllers?
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

            Hit it.

I've seen admins disable protocols and ports on the machine and kill printing, you may be able to check some via SP mode and telnet. Print the NIB Summary and you should see what's up and down as it relates to services.

Unplug the machine and ping the IP. You may have another device on the same IP, this would sometimes allow the machine to work and sometimes lock the machine out.

Yep, good way to make sure your talking to the right machine. Then try a diff. patch cable.

                      What is SP5985-001 set at??

If the nic is set to 2 the WIM won't function. Set to 1

please can you further clarify pin point if possible over sp mode where to check protocols & ports and what to check for printing
option to enable as with network connection scan folder working normal.

First of all, as already said, check if your machine has the same IP number as other PC.

If not then print Printer page configuration:
                          - User tools
                          - System Settings
                          - Interface Setting
                          - Print List.

Check if you ahave come Access Control Active
Check if DIPRINT is UP and look for right port.

If Diprint is down, connect to the machine via telnet and use command "SET DIPRINT UP"
                          Let us know.

Check and see if the machine has wireless Lan installed as well. Both cant be used at the same time. I would also have a look in systems settings and make sure that the NIB has been selected if you have that option.

Make sure IP filtering/access list is not enabled
