ld520c black toner won't fit??

i've got an ld520c new out of the box. all the color toner bottles went in fine but the black bottle won't fit. there is a key on the bottom of the bottle that doesn't jive. the same key is on the color bottles and they fit. i checked the product support guide and varified i have the right bottle 841280. i called ricoh and the guy i talked to said, in not so many words, modify the hopper so the bottle will fit. okay... anyone else have this problem?

I haven't seen this before. Have you tried another bottle? Have you tried this bottle in another machine? Have you compared the keys on the machine to another machine?

My initial thought is that something was put together incorrectly or was "altered" in transit along the line. We've got several of these models in the field with no issues like this.
