    i have sucessfully set up scanrouter on a 1027 but i am trying to get it setup on a 220 and i have no luck.
    installed the scanner board and button, set the ip\'s (it can print and i can ping both the printer nic and the scanner nic) and set destination ip in scanner settings to the pc\' address. I then installed scanrouter v2. on the pc set up the software with a folder etc. HOWEVER when i set up the i/o device i have problems. I can browse and se the ip address of the scanner board but when i add it to the devices it says error cannot detect device make sure power is turned on. By the way twain scan works.
    I fix copiers ...Well Sorta

      Before PC-Faxing can be done, the following settings in copier service and user modes must be set.

      Answer
      Aficio 220/270/350E/450E Network Fax Settings For Scan Router Pro 1. Service Mode Settings -Press Yellow Clear Modes Button/1 0 7/Then hold Clear Stop Button for 4 seconds to enter service mode. -Press 2 for Fax -Press 0 1 for bit switches -Press 1 for system switch -Touch [up switch] 4 times until 1C system switch is displayed. -Press 0 to change the right-most 0 to a 1 -Touch [down switch] 3times until 1F system switch is displayed. -Press 6 to change bit 6 from a 0 to a 1. Ex: 01000000 -Touch OK on display. -Touch Prev-Menu on display -Touch Exit on display. -Power copier off/on before changing user mode settings. 2. User Mode Settings -Press user tools button. -Press 3 for fax -Press 6 # within 3 seconds to enter key op settings -Touch [Next] three times -Press 16 for user parameters -Touch [Up switch] to display switch 31. -Press 1 to change bit 1 to a 1. Ex: 00000010 -Press 2 to change bit 2 to a 1 or 0. Ex: 00000110 (Print and Store Receive Fax) or 00000010 (Store Receive Fax only) -Touch [OK] -Touch [Prev Menu] -Touch [Menu] -Touch [Exit]

          how dumb ... am I ... the af 220 doesnt have to be set up as an i/o device in scanrouter lite to work.... it works without this being set up
