Big problem aficio 1075 copy background and quality

Sometimes copy quality is very fine and sometimes not. Last Visit i see display during copy is flickering and getting dark when backround comes up. Can it bee an Powersupply problem? Check out chargecorona for arching. Sometimes only copylamp on make the display get darker. Try another outline also nothing. Please help from the best techs inthe world i have only three from this machines so the knowlege is limitatet.

It does sound like a problem in the charge area.How long since the last PM? Run a SMC and see whats codes have been popping up to help isolate the problem.

Check drum ground, and make sure the power going to the copier from the outlet in the wall is supplying the correct voltage constantly and that the nuetral line is close to zero volts ac and that the ground at the outlet has less than 2 volts when the copeir is running.

Pull out all the trays and test them one at a time. Could be the start of a short in the tandem tray wiring loom, takes down the 24V line to the Op Panel.
