    1224c transfer belt

    Hi everyone. I have never seen a 1224c before and a tech I help out sometimes wanted to know if just the transferbelt on the pcu can be replaced or if the whole pcu has to be replaced. appreciate the help.

        He didnt say why he wanted to replace it. I will be seeing him tomorrow, I will find out what the problem is then. thanks

          If its not cleaning, it may need a new drive bracket assy. (raises and lowers the cleaning assy)

              Yeah, and the most common problem is - they were made in the first place.
              It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

                  Is the brkt you mentioned the Brkt transport assem P/N B0514807 ?

                    best thing to do with a 1224c is tie a chain to it and use it as an anchor.........

                        Walk away. For your own health and hair left in your head, walk away. Cut off all tie with anyone you know that still has one of these anchors and walk away.

                        Better yet RUN!
                        Why do they call it common sense?

                            luckily its not mine...I will pass this along. The issue he is having with this is the main motor is dragging. He seems to think its a worn transfer belt so he ordered a new pcu. Make sense or not? I no nothing about this model....Im happy to work on the newer color units.
