So, he ordered a drum when he suspects the transfer belt??????????????
I hope it is a typo.
      PCU vs. TBU.
Don't let him suck you into this stress builder.

Why do they call it common sense?

If it were common, wouldn't everyone have it?

Im getting the feeling I want to avoid these. Thanks for all the info. Does it make sense the pcu could be causing the main motor to slow down? thats the problem he is working on.

Doubt the motor slowing down would expect sc code but PCU has 2 belts and blades the whole unit causes weird problems. once you have fitted that chances are customer will still not be happy.Dev units crap, dev retraction crap, fuser unit crap, fuser cleaner crap......only good thing with machine is the fuse in the plug is quite reliable. good luck.
