hi guys,please help!i have installed this machine with a SR790 finisher and its giving me p.jam at the entrance of the finisher,when it reaches the entrance the exit rollers are not actuated then it waits for about 2 mins to sense the p.jam,the specs of the copier states that this finisher is compatible,i tried the finisher on a mpc 4000 and it works,what might be the prob.?

update the firmware on the machine and then the finisher firmware.

The original SR790 isn't fast enough to run with this machine. A modified eprom came out around the time of the MPC5000 to cope with the speed. Try that?

hi guys,forgot to ask i tried updating the latest firmware for the finisher but got a msg of invalid
firmware and a code 36 saying specify the right firmware,any ideas

B4085162 is the modified eprom.
