Does anyone here can tell me how long does a Aficio 2027 original photo conductor unit last ( in terms of number of copies )? I have heard that it can go as far as 200K copies, sometimes even above 250k copies. Obviously the prints might not be as good but still acceptable. Thanks in advance.

The PCU is rated for 60k and "might" go 80k if you're lucky. The humidity is very low here which might contribute to the failures. -
it is rated for 60K and a message will come on the screen to replace PCU. I usually advise the customer to order and have one on hand. They can replace it when the copy quality gets to be too poor for their standards. Most of the time, I see them last betwwen 80-100K.Comment

We seem to get up close to 120k before these wet the bed even thought they officially go 60k.Comment
