    ricoh afficio 1018

    i got a problom with ricoh afficio 1018, i replaced drum, blade and developer, did the calibration, but copies are coming out with back ground.i cleabed the charge rollers, optics, and laser etc.but problom still persists..plz help, thanks in advance.

    When you replace the drum and the cleaning blade, it's better to also replace the charge roller and brush roller. A bad/worn charge roller can cause bckground.

        Also make sure you reset the charge voltage back to its default.

          or try to clean all conectors on drum unit and metal connections on manchine

            Also check to see if your discharge lamp is working, seen that before.
