this machine seems to be bringing up this code a little too often . Am I missing something in the fuser to repair this ?

Hi Rick.
SC471 is transfer unit lift error.
Remove the ITB unit from the machine and check the right side of the unit is free to lift and fall. Also check the lift sensor inside the machine, it can get toner dropping onto it. -
