Gestetner DSm620d - no print functions?

I'm working on a gestetner machine - model DSm620d and all of the print functions seem to be disabled or missing. The same goes for the network settings. From all the documentation I've seen, there should be an Interface Settings submenu under the System Settings menu. But it's no where to be found.
Any ideas?

Does the machine have a print controller installed? Is the SD in the right slot, or seated correctly?

feature expansion board type 2018 and printer/scanner unit type 2018 should be there

It looks like there is no print controller. I (incorrectly) assumed it had one.
Any idea what that would cost to add on? From what you all have sent, it looks like it'll need the controller card in the back and either a new keypad or the additional buttons that are missing from the control panel. This one just has buttons for copy and fax on it.
