This is happening intermittently an as usual I have to go in to customer tomorrow after our friendly co-worker had 2 attempts at the problem. It's jamming only on A3 from 2nd tray, A4 works fine from 2nd tray. Paper exits the fuser then logs a jam, but not every time. Now, our 'very economical with the truth technician' tells me he has cleaned and tested all sensors and motors in sp mode, and performed 400 A3 single sided copies without a problem Personally, I wouldn't bet an average somalian's days wages on that! Has anyone got any pointers on this please!

The only feed issues ive had on these or the 22** series of machines is the secondary feed roller has a one way bearing in it which has a tendancy to slip, not sure why this would only affect A3, weight of paper causing a timing issue maybe?, but if its only from 1 tray for what they cost i would replace anyway.Comment

great machine that one, check the belt and gear that drives the fuser on the rear of the machine or take the transfer unit apart and clean everything up, this whould be my second choice.sigpicWe can all Win, but at the end we all loose. Save the greyhoundComment

Could be a stripper hanging in the fuser or maybe a bur on one of the mylars in the duplex unit if the paper is heading that way. How far is the paper exiting the fuser?"See if you can rent a spring hook and a phillips screwdriver it will make your life that much easier..."Comment

I was at his for 3 hours this morning. All sensors check out ok in input mode. Fuser is in good shape. I fed A3 from tray 2 and the bypass,(not duplex) and the page comes fully out of paper exit but as it gets 3/4 of the way out it registers jam 63, which is the alternative tray that I'm not using. If I select the alternative output tray I still get same jam. This only happens with A3.It's really strange. There is no bridge unit on this machineGrant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change.Comment
