    Aficio 1060 Bates stamping

Hi, I have a customer that loves there 1060, and wants to add Bates stamping to it, for their work flow. I searched through the Ricoh TSC website and haven't found the program to download for this model. I appreciate any help or push in the right direction. Thank you in advance.

That might work good for printing, but not for my customer that is running copy jobs only.

Not real sure about the 1060 (2560 Savin), but I know the newer models such as the Savin 8055 have Bates Stamping Standard. You just have to cut it on.

As far as I know, you can't actually download it, as a program, and install it. Your customer may be left with upgrading their machine (great opportunity for your company) or your company trying to sell them a new solution (such as Ecopy, very expensive!) for an old machine.

E-Copy would be a great solution.

but after the Firmware upgrade you can try the following:
((Not really sure if it applies to the machine that you are working on))

              ENABLING THE BATES STAMP FEATURE:
              1. Turn on SP 5-227-200
              1
              2. Check the setting of SP5-227-201
              3. Check the setting of SP5-227-202

0: excess zeros displayed (Factory Setting)
              1: no excess zeros
              USING THE BATES STAMP FEATURE:
              1. In Copier Mode, press [Edit / Stamp].
              2. Press [Stamp]
              3. Press [ Stamp Text].
              4. Setting up Bates Stamping requires setting up components:
              a. <Text > b. <Numbering from / to >

              5. In <TextChange Text
              6. Type in text component (you can include spaces if required).
              7. Select [ Ok].
              8. In <Numbering from / to> field, select [Change Start No.].
              9. Type in the number that you want to begin from.
              10. Select [ #].
              11. Select [Ok].
              12. To change the position of the stamp on the printed page, select [Change] and select the appropriate location. The position shown here is the upper right hand corner.
              13. Press the [Start] button to begin the job.

              Notes:
Bates Stamping can only be used in copy mode.
Bates Stamping cannot be used for files saved in the Document Server.
The location of this stamp may be positioned in the following areas: lower right; lower left; upper right;upper left and middle.
