Dear folks
Client of mine got his XP desktop infected with virus and spyware.
I did a fresh installation for the XP Prof OS then I installed all patches and updates.
He has a Ricoh Aficio 2015 connected via Ethernet cable to his Netgear router
I downloaded the driver for this printer from the official website as depicted in the snapshot below :

From the PC I can print but I cannot scan neither from the PC (there is no option for scanning) nor from the "Start" button (i.e. physical standing near the printer and select "Scan" option and then press on "Start" button), but I can photocopy if I select the "copy" option and then press on the "Start" button
He has Norton only antivirus (not Norton suite which includes firewall ) installed
There is no error message.
The client told the scan was working before I did a fresh installation
I can ping the printer and I can print to the printer ,,,,means no problem with connection.
I believe I installed the correct driver
Regards
