    [Electrical] Ricoh 551 / 700 sc345

    As soon as it tries to make a copy, it throws this code. Was previously getting td sensor errors, and losing its density after the development unit seized up.(replaced dev bushings, seals) I was about to replace developer but was getting this new sc345(dev bias leakage). Any print, dev initialize, force toner, proc cntrl, or dev bias output will cause this code within seconds. The drum isn't worn, can't find anything shorting out. Im thinking development power pack. Can I hook up a meter to the power pack to verify its dead?

          include the power supply when troubleshooting this problem.

                  Make sure you've got all the developer cleaned out of the machine and it's not causing a short anywhere.
                  the savin2535 is displaying well bet the hiter lamp is not shining and the lamp had been tested o.k.please kindly help.

                      Check the positioning bearing on the rear frame, when it wears out it can cause this problem. CAUTION: scribe the bearing position with the developer installed before removing the bearing. This affects the developer to drum distance.

                          Interesting, I haven't seen those fail yet... Are you talking about the piece where the mag bias tab is? I can't picture a traditional bearing back there.

                              Its not as much a bearing as a holder, for the developer unit. The developer pin slips into it and the holder maintains the D to D distance/.
