sc 329 savin 4045

Hi, I have a savin 4045 with a sc329 error. code appears as the first copy is being made. have tried sp2109 but it does not adjust and actually throws the sc 329 upon executing. We have tried a different laser unit and BICU board that both work in another machine. Please advise. Thanks

You did not say when this first started happening. Because you have already tried another Laser Housing, this should rule out a problem with movement of the LD Board, operation of the Laser Positioning Motor or a bad LD Board. I have seen a problem with the Flat Cable before (but am not sure what error happened). You did setup the new Laser Housing with SP2109? Here is a copy of the SP2109 setup.

Change the door switches above the fuser. They cause odd laser issues.
