[CQ] MPC6501 Over toned black only

This beast is kicking my arse, only cleaned the black pcu 9K ago,all pm parts on 60k & it's pissing out toner into the dev unit & pcu causing overtoned copies & the charger is covered with toner.
Been a nightmare customer since day 1,they print insurance cover notes all day long as proccessed black-forever going in to replace overlife parts, only done 500k colour ,200 black, all the filters are changed on life-what I am missing-I'm beginning to hate these crocs of shit-I''ve got just over 30 of these on my patch & a car full of parts,it's all I seem to see all day long!!-Any help--pleeeeaseeee??

Change the default on their print drivers to b/w.
Open driver-right click printer properties- click printer preferences- change from color to black and white.
Saves color clicks, but reduces service problems.
Why do they call it common sense?

If it were common, wouldn't everyone have it?

I have had the toner pumps fail both ways, either quit pumping causing an undertone or stay engaged and pack the developer unit tight with toner. So you may have a stuck black pump that is causing this. As far as the type of output the customer is doing, there are some SP codes you can change to force the device to do a process control more frequently during times of high coverage printing. I don't have them handy at the moment, but will try and post them tomorrow unless someone else does first.
