[CQ] MP-7001 Light copy Add Toner message

Dear All

My two MP-7001 is light copy. In both customer replace DT-50 toner cartridge,

after four days light copy. In one m/c i replaced developer, Cl Blade, Cl Brush.

Still the same. In both machine after opening front door it start loading toner.

One comes to ready position while other fails and appearing add toner message.

Both are new machine one copy count is only 200,000 and another 700,000

They're putting a DT-50 cartridges' toner in this machine!?!?!?!

In which of the two is the problem? If the 700K I would look for clutch block revealing. Just remove the top cover on the right side you see at the top. If you see rust off will need to replace or remove and clean.
If the problem you have in the 200K I would look first addition to the block before the block toner and developer on the entire block of toner recycling if it has been stopped.

First try to rectify the problem. check if toner motor is rotating properly or something is blocking toner from dropping into the developing unit.

Is this DT50 toner the Nashuatec toner or is this compatible non-oem toner?

If the DT-50 is what I think it is, it's an all-in-one PCU for the AP410n.

try putting tonner manually in the dev , if it makes any difference to the cq , monitor the ID sensor output values , But I cant digest this DT-50 , just get orignal ricoh tonner .

The culprit is toner cartridge cap. Cap is not opening inside hopper
so toner supply to development unit stops.

These DT-50 toner cartridges are looks giving sometime problem.

I had a weird issue with a MP8000 a few weeks ago that had light copies and kept saying add toner.
After spending some hours troubleshooting the problem it actually turned out to be a faulty (failing) laser diode unit.

I'm not saying that is the problem here.
But it is worth mentioning as the model and symptoms are the same.
It was fairly difficult to pin point as it's not the first thing that springs to mind to be honest.
