    AF2020 & WINDOWS 7

Hi... Need help with the following problem. AF2020D was printing/scanning perfectly when connected using windows XP version (with internet cable). Customer has now upgraded to Windows 7 and I cannot get it to detect printer and scanner drivers. I'm using desktop binder. Am I missing something? Even if its a simple and obvious answer, yr response will be appreciated ..... thank you.

The AF2020 does not support NTLMv2, which Windows 7 uses to allow incoming connections. TWAIN also will not work as this is not supported in the 64 bit platform. You could try scanning by IP address (i.e. 10.102.135.14\Scans) as opposed to host name, but without NTLMv2 you probably won't have much luck. Technology has passed this model by.

First off. Make sure you're using the latest firmware. That was an ongoing problem from Ricoh and was fixed with a firmware update. Then, the user on windows 7 most have password (no blank password). Also, disable any firewall (Windows or Antivirus).
If none of this works, you can still scan to ftp. Download Filezilla, a free ftp server, install it and scan to it. It is ease and practical.

Go to the accessories tab on the printer properties and add the duplexer
