    AF3030 HDD

    Gday techs,

    Can somebody provide me some details regarding HDD requirements for this machine. We have one in our shop with only 30k on the clock which has come out of lease from a court where the original HDD was left with the customer.

    Obviously it will need firmware which I can get no dramas, just need to know what types of HDD will suit and if there will be a max size I can use.

    i believe it uses ide laptop hdd. not sure of max size but usually 20gb is installed

      The product support guide shows the HDD being 20GB and it will be a 2.5" laptop type. You can almost certainly fit a larger drive (perhaps as big as an 80GB) but the machine will only use the standard size partitions it is programmed to create, so no added capacity on the document server etc...
