Aficio 3235c Add Tonner Problem

We have a couple of these machines out that are asking for toner. when the cartridge isnt empty, infact the cartridge is all but full.

We first tried replacing the dev unit, as expected worked at first then the problem came back.

We then checked the toner, and tried a new cartridge (Branded toner). Still no sucess.

We then checked the toner pipe and changed the toner motor (from a scarp machine) and still the problem remains.

We have now ordered a new toner motor to try that but after that we are out of ideas.

Any body else have this problem and/or a solution to it??

Change the toner attraction pump and the associated hose too. Item #12, B180 3356 for black pump and G060 3236 (not listed on this snippet of the PC) for the tube. Perhaps this is what you meant by toner motor. The pumps fail and tubes clog, when in doubt replace them.

Thanks Zed, by toner motor I do mean the pump, one will be with us on Monday so will give it a shot.
